Fees will vary, depending on the tasks requested to perform and the skill needed. Generally the rates will be set by agreement, unless they are set by statute.
Probate: Fees are set by statute as a percentage of the gross value of the estate.
Conservatorship/Guardianship: Fees are on a per-hour basis, as guided by the Probate Code and the California Rules of Court. Those fees are requested by petition and are approved by the court.
Trusts: Fees may be a percentage of the estate, or billed on a "per hour" basis, depending on the size of the estate, the tasks required, and the level of skill needed for those administrative tasks.
Power of Attorney or Representative Payee: Fees are billed on a per-hour basis.
